I thought I'd write something in xanga seeing as I got rid of my facebook account. Please don't ask why because there's really no point explaining so hehe

I was away in Japan for the past 3 weeks and I'm back in the UK now. It was nice to see my family again and eat really good food for a change. I suppose one of the most memorable things that happened was going to the photo studio dressed up in a kimono that my mom wore when she was 20. There's a proper ceremony in Japan around January for those that become 20. I wore layer after layer of material and it was really tight but that wasn't much of a problem. It was just that I didn't eat anything for lunch so I spent 2 hours with an empty stomach hehe My sister also rented a kimono and dressed up as well because we didn't know when was the next time we'd ever go back to japan. I took pictures with my relatives and just my family. I think it's the first family photo we've took since I was 7. My dad suddenly decided that he wanted to wear a thobe so there's a picture with him in it like that hehe It's a shame but I don't have any of those photos with me at the moment, my sister took some with her digital camera and it's in my father's computer so I have to wait till he sends them hmm Either way, after taking the photos my sister took off her kimono (cuz it was rented) but I stayed dressed up and went to the local mall to get something to eat. Maan, I really stood out (esp because I took the photo on 12/30 which is a lot earlier than the ceremony itself). Oh well, I didn't really care if people saw me because it wasn't like i was wearing an arabic national clothes or an evening dress pff

Another memorable (?) thing that happened was that, on the way to Japan, I missed a flight at France because the flight to France from UK was extremely delayed. When I was at Heathrow, I ended up leaving from the check-in counter to the gate, 15 min before the flight was supposed to leave. Everyone was pushing and shoving because there was some system error at the check-in counter. I lined up for 2.5 hours that morning. Either way, when I found out that I missed my flight to Japan, I had to line up at another counter for 2 hours because A LOT of people missed their flight. By then, I was getting dizzy because I didn't sleep the night before. I figured that I wouldn't get any jet lag if I do that... eish. After a while, I managed to get a ticket that provides a place to stay etc because the next flight to japan was the next day. I took ages just trying to find my way out of the terminal. People at that airport were quite unhelpful -_- Anyway, a lot of Japanese people were around but I decided not to talk to anyone seeing as I was dead tired. Once I was at the 2 star hotel they provided, I got ready to sleep although it was still 5 pm. The shower only had to little pieces of soap and a shampoo bottle and that was it lol I couldn't even brush my teeth because I barely took anything with me onto the plane due to the "one baggage rule".

Right before I fell asleep I noticed that there were 2 odd stains on the wall; as though something got splattered onto it. I went up to it and it looked red... hmmmmmmmm I actually freaked out a bit then but I turned away from the wall and went to sleep. I don't want to imagine what happened in that room hehe Either way, I somehow managed to arrive in Japan (I watched a lot of movies hehe) but once I got to the baggage reclaim err place, my suitcase never came out .... I looked around and noticed that some people who were stuck with me in france had their luggage. I was one of the unlucky ones that couldn't get their suitcase ARGH I went and wrote in some sheet and left. I was told that the bag should arrive in 2 days and if it doesn't I should try to get compensation from the company. In the end, the bag didn't arrive for 3 days, the people at the airport were saying that there was some kind of strike at the airport after we left and well when I called about my suitcase the woman on the phone was like she had no idea where my suitcase was -_- She assumed that I lived in Japan or something and that losing a suitcase wasn't such a big deal because I'd have a house but nooo I kept borrowing my sisters clothes and all... In the end, I did get my suitcase back so that's a relief.

PHOTOS

Went to Yokohama's China Town with Asato and Jumana

A small police station in Asakusa

Shibuya mmm busy busy

Jumana, me, Ahmed (The three freaks)

Out for dinner (my 2 cousins and my bro)

Nagashima Spaland (view from the ferris wheel)

Small show at the amusement park

Famous toilet company "TOTO"

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

Happy Birthday Chris and David!!

It's been 2 days since my birthday actually woohoo I'm twenty! Number-wise it's like a big jump but err doesn't feel like it. You know, I was actually 18 as well as 19 last summer so yeah feels bizarre hehe I went out to Trader Vic's last night with my family. I think my brother didn't realise it was my birthday until we were on the car on the way to the restaurant lol (aho da--)

I thought I'd take the opportunity to write about what's been up with me and so I'll be writing about the 2 weddings that I attended within the last 4 days. Attending a Saudi wedding isn't something you see quite often so yeah I'll go ahead and describe what happened

July 5th

The first wedding one was between my cousin Noof and Mohammed. I had only seen the bridegroom in photos but he looked really young; could have passed for a 15 year old. The actual event was going to be situated at the bride's hometown which is in Hassah, a rural city compared to some place like Dammam (one of the closest cities you can get to from Bahrain). Either way, I was expecting a long journey since it takes at least 2-3 hours to get there but things were made worse because of my father's doctor's appointment at 16:00.

We were to leave by 14:30 so we all got ready. My father and my brother wore their thobe which was interesting to see seeing that my father had some kind of black overcoat (something you'd see wearing on the King) and the last time I had seen my brother wear a thobe was when he was 5.

Usually when I go to Saudi, I usually don't completely cover my face because well, I've got nothing to hide hehe It really all has to do whether or not the woman mind's having strange men looking at their faces I suppose. What my mother suddenly decided to do was to buy a face mask (basically a cloth to cover the face) so that we can hide our faces if we put too much makeup on lol My sister had a blast trying it on and looking like a fool. We're thinking of putting up a few videos of her going crazy in her abaya with her face completely covered over. We'll be calling in the "The Crazy Arab Lady" series hahaha (she's actually insisting that we go to places with the whole outfit to do stupid things hehe)

Hours later we managed arrive at the bride's house (this was around 20:00). Absolutely no one was there except some of the younger kids running around and 1 of my older girl cousins (who's sisters with the bride). At this point, I think I should explain what her family is comprised of. There are 10 children in total. The two eldest are brothers and the rest of the 8 children are girls. Yes, there are just a lot of girls and the one girl cousin that was around when we arrived is the same age as me, but for as long as I can remember she's always avoided being girly and I admire her for that. You don't ever see someone with that kind of thinking in my family really.

Anyway, about an hour later the door suddenly opens and I see an unfamiliar face. Actually, that's not really explaining how I felt when I first saw the face at the door. I was shocked! It was my aunt coming back from the hair salon and she had a lot of makeup on. (I tried looking for a pic to prove my point but there's nothing!) The way the whole thing was put on her face was just something you can never imagine to do. She was wearing a red dress so she had a huge red glittery layer of eyeshadow that covered her eyes and up to her eyebrow. Her hair had huge amounts of curls with red and glitter sprayed all over the place. I thought seeing her was surprising enough but I was met with a stream of cousins and aunts with SHOCKING makeup (this included the really young cousins). All these images are imprinted in my head because it was just too much. Their dresses weren't exactly nice either. A lot of sequinces everywhere with strange colored layers. My mind is filled with all these grotesque combinations and BRIGHT colors. I don't mean to be critical but it's just things you don't see people wearing all the time. My aunt was complaining that they had put too much; well the color of their faces were quite different from the rest of the body hehe

Ok, back to the wedding. We were all loaded onto cars and taken to the hall around 22:00. As it IS a Saudi wedding, the women and men are in separate places and so we were dumped off at the place while my brother and father went off to the other side of the building where the men's section was supposed to be. I went in and saw a lot of women in shocking dresses and makeup yet again but there were a lot more of them this time. My sister's one worry about this whole wedding is being looked at. This is unevitable in my family's case because my mother's Japanese (so we don't look fully Arab) and we were trying to dress nicely at our standards so we looked quite different from the rest of the ladies there. I had to go through a lot of cheek kissing by the time I was getting settled to sit down at a table (which was quite hard because the place was almost fully packed). All that kissing really was getting me to have a lot of foundation on my cheek lol

The hall was set up to look like a fashion show catwalk with big stage attached to the end and there were 3 women on that stage with drums (held in the hand) and singing towards the microphone. The beat was nice and people were going up and dancing constantly. I can see that they're confident people. All the lights are on and sometimes no one's dancing but some women can go up and just dance by themselves with everyone looking at them. (That is one thing I can't do o_O) The large women were the most jolly and confident out of everyone. Their hip movement certainly was hypnotic hahaha There were a lot of little girls up on stage dancing as well and it made me realise that when I was small, I probably would have had no problem doing the same thing. I was brought up in the 'Saudi way' till I left to Japan for good and I've always craved for attention haha I see where I get that from.

Anyway, a lot of people were staring and I've never thought that as an issue. I'm surprised and shocked by them so I can't help but stare at them as well so I really don't mind if they have a good look lol My sister can't stand this because she ends up taking it in a bad way. She keeps telling me that they must be thinking about bad things about her or something but heck I told her that she actually looks nice and she should know that she looks nice so who cares what other people think. I mean I stood out more because I look pale next to her lol I did get annoyed when my mom told me that a bunch of young girls walked by her and called her a Filipino though. I hate it when I can't speak Arabic. If people are treating us in a shitty way, there's no way we can complain or say some kind of comeback.

Closing to 1:00 an announcment was made. I didn't realise what was going on until I saw flur of black everywhere. At this point I was tired to sit amongst my relatives so I was at an upstairs balcony thing looking down at the hall with some people. I swear, I should use a stopwatch to see how fast these people can change into their abayas because it was quite quick. One moment everyone's colorful, the next moment 200 people are err black. The announcment was that the male relatives of the bride were going to come to the women's section. The came along and stood on stage to dance a bit with their mother. I know the two eldest brothers in the family and Jamil (the eldest one) was being really shy as usual so he was standing by the side most of the time. My mother was telling me that the young women amongst the crowd could be telling their mother that they want to marry him. She got that idea because the men are basically stared at by 200 women and seeing that Jamil's single and quite cute looking, they'd be looking at him like a piece of mm meat? (Sounds horrible, wish there was a nicer way to expres this)

At 1:00, the bride finally arrives. The smoke machines set on and she walks on the catwalk towards the stage. Her mother is going around fixing the dress and getting her to walk smoothly (seeing that the catwalk was quite small for her dress). She looked really pretty and I'll avoid talking about her makeup. She got on stage and walked around back and forth. She then stood on this light machine sorta thing that gives off different colors everywhere randomly. Once she stood on it, you can see all the colors in the inside of her dress. She really looked like a doll hehe Once she got down and settled down on her chair (with all the men gone), the women came up to congratulate her. There were a couple of chairs on stage and my aunt insisted that we sit down there. My sister had gone ahead and went upstairs by then. My aunt, who's Filipino, suddenly tugged my hand for one music and took me to where everyone was dancing. She told me that our family name was called out so people from that family should come out and dance. I went ahead and danced even though I've never really danced to that particular type of song before. Wasn't too bad actually hehe After that was over, my aunts started to ask where my sister is. I kept pointing towards her on the balcony and saying "Foag" (oa pronounced the way it is 'oak') lol there's my arabic for you. She wouldn't budge no matter how much we waved at her so I went upstairs to talk to her but she insisted that she'd stay up to stop people from stealing our abaya (like that would happen). She finally did come down with a tug from my mother and she had her first dance hehe

At 2:00 they announced dinner and everyone left to a different room where there were platter after platter of lamb on rice. My aunt kindly showed us a place to sit and all. My mom had brought spoons with her because the people there tend to eat with their hands (not everywhere but it just happened to be in that place). After dinner, most of the guests left and the family members were the ones who were around mostly. We ended up staying till around 4:20 after that. We went out of the hall with the bride's family and my father came to pick us up.

I went ahead and asked how it was like for him. He was like "Oh it's custom that the women eat late and stay at the wedding reception till late" hmm basically the men had dinner 30 min after they first arrived (unlike us because we waited for 4 hours) and they had left by midnight back to the bride's house and sat about talking. *sigh* two different worlds indeed. We then arrived at 6:20 in the morning and then got to sleep (I felt sorry for the dog that was left behind for over 16 hours)

Sunday, June 25, 2006

I'm back back back in Bahrain!!! I haven't been back to Bahrain in the summer for 2 years now so my body's getting quite a shock haha I mean Bristol's got suddenly cold the past week (11-15 degrees C) and err it's not like that here hehe Got almost 2 whole months being stuck here so I'll probably try to pass the time by applying for some kinda internship (I barely have anything on my CV) and well I found out that I didn't exactly pass 2 units outta 12 lol Oh, with the question about having so many exams... our department just thought it wouldn't be suitable to have exams spread out all over the place -_- but I DID do one stats exam earlier on the year thus 12 exams in total. Anyway, I'll have to be studying for the 2 exams over the holiday.

I sorta got distracted so I'll talk about the stuff that happened in London next time

Either way, if anyone's planning on something I'll be up for it!

Thursday, June 15, 2006

Hey ppl, I really suck at updating xanga these days. Technically I'm one of the first ones who started off this whole xanga thing within our group in Bahrain but I've been slacking for quite a while. As a highlight, I managed to finish all 11 exams *phew*. It all seems like a blur now. Staying up till the crack of dawn cramming everyday, taking the exam from 9:30, getting home to take a 3 hour nap and then starting all over. The first set of exams were the worst since I had to do 5 exams in a row ugh... It really is a miracle that I avoided getting sick, instead I lost a bit of weight chewing on bread and forgetting to eat at times lol

The only real reason why I'm still stuck in Bristol (which actually isn't too bad weather-wise, excluding the random rain) is because I'm stuck doing a Fieldcourse for my course. Yes, it says "Field" but unlike the other programs, I ended up being allocated to lab work. Other people are out in Wales or what not catching bats and insects (which is what I actually wanted to do lol). Anyway, the prof in charge, known as Colin Lazarus is a nice laid back guy so it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. It's just that we end up having an hour session or something explaining about concepts of molecular genetics and sometimes I just CAN'T keep up if I'm not concentrating on every little thing he says ARGH hehe I mean the stuff I have to remember is so technical and personally, I think the hardest thing you can ever learn in Biology. I mean, Biology's known to be the easiest Science subject you can ever take but it's difficult for anyone to pop by and take a genetics course from the 2nd year without knowing any of the basics. Anyway, I basically spent yesterday and today sitting in front of a crammed table, pipetting things and making gels lol The rest of the time consists of sitting around until something's incubated for long enough etc aaah hehe

Oh well, I'm actually planning on going to London tomorrow with Asato. I've always wanted to go somewhere with him but ugh we never plan hehe so yeah, it's a big deal just getting this through. Oh, and I managed to get facebook at last. It makes me a little sad and happy to see my old classmates and all. I remember their faces as they were when I last left so it's hard to fit that with how they look like now (if they're so different).

*I'll be leaving to Bahrain on the 22nd and arriving on the morning of the 23rd!!

**If anyone's bored enough, take a look at the lab I work in

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDC3Y_PP26M

Wednesday, May 17, 2006

Hey people, it's been ages and I say this everytime I guess. I always have this thing that I should write a lot for an entry but err I really don't have a lot of time these days.

To summarise my recent events, I should mention that Faaiza came over to Bristol and we went on a coach to meet Rishi in Nottingham. It was a fairly short trip cuz we left in the afternoon the day after we arrived. We met up with Rishi's buddies and well they were hella surprised to especially see Faaiza seeing that he always mentioned her as someone faraway in Bahrain and also because he decided not to tell anyone about our arrival for some reason hehe I also somehow got to contact Suleiman at the last minute and well he actually woke up in the morning to see us on the day we were leaving which was very nice of him. Sorta took ages walking around and eating so when we suddenly decided to go to the robin hood statue, there wasn't a lot of time. Rishi, held a map in one hand and took us through the city and all hehe

After we came back, I took Faaiza to watch "Silent Hill" and stroll over to the Bristol Zoo. Silent Hill wasn't THAT scary, I mean even I was able to watch it 'cept I was freaking out when monsters came out. Faaiza was complaining about the parts I found fine and all hehe The zoo on the other hand was quite nice Animal interactions not a bad thing methinks hehe

I must say www.youtube.com is by far the best site I've used. I must thank Faaiza for introducing this thing to me. I'm thinking of uploading videos from trips like this so ppl can see videos for a change. I'll keep all the videos private on the youtube site but I suppose there's no point if I'm putting them up here hmm a little dilemma. Either way, I'll leave this video I took during the winter holidays as a test. It's the infamous squeezy thing Faaiza did at the toy store. Sadly the video gets cut off at the wrong point so people can't see the best part of it. Ah well! Maybe I'll put a bunch of other videos from this weekend after I ask some people

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEPh2UbMlrk

Exams from May 22nd! ARGH!!!

*I've fixed the link and well if you wanna see random videos I've put up, come and look at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=royalken

Thursday, March 16, 2006

I'm back for another entry!! I've managed to finish my essay in time (sorta) and well it was Faaiza's birthday! Seems like the F-1 wasn't too bad this year hehe

thought I'd just post some interesting things I've been introduced to the past couple of days

Scamming the scammer: P-P-P Powerbook!
http://www.newssocket.com/features/article/231/page/1/

Pretty good prank. The guy really pulled it off with a lot of people helping out

The 'Real' Simpsons
http://www.devilducky.com/media/42779/

Whoever made this was really trying to get the details right hehe

Super Mario Brothers Speed Race
http://www.pistolwimp.com/media/42507/

Just woah o_O

On a different note, it was unusually sunny and a little warm in Bristol so I went out for some mini-baseball with Asato and Andy. We decided to play right by the physics building and some people inside seemed curious hehe Oh and I think I took a lot of cool pics there

It snowed last sunday!!

cat having a nap hehe

Wednesday, March 08, 2006

sorry people, I can't really comment on anyone's site or anything cuz I have to finish an essay on pollution in the persian gulf (ooh) by Friday but I thought I'd write a quick entry. I've decided to post a selection of past entries that I have saved onto my computer cuz well I found a few of them quite amusing (I especially like the asymptote one at the bottom )

Katesh!! "The Ultimate Spice"

(found under the spice farm at the core of the earth's surface, very dangerous, only Keeble can handle it)

Danny's geek goggles lmao!! the geek from outer space!! I swear I have never seen such demented goggles hehehe

I just remember talking about goodness gracious me lol hmm that dodgy phrase as well "why look at the mantle piece when you're stoking the fire" that program sure thinks up of the oddest things hehe

fiz' comment on firas' role at the twin's house was funny haha i mentioned him literally being eaten by them and well fiz was like live bait... dress him up in a hot dog suit and have david chase him as his daily exercise lol!

not a very healthy holiday so far... ahhh i'm so sick and tired of kfc!!! wednesday afterschool... kfc, thursday night... kfc, friday morning... kfc, friday afternoon... kfc, saturday night... kfc, me go insane and i dun feel to good either!!

"GRAB THE BULL BY HIS BALLS!!" lol!!! weaam's trying to help me with my personal statement but it's turning out to be something weird haha i was asking for suggestions for my conclusion and she comes up with that phrase hehe and other ones like "My brain cells are ready to go~" (ready to rumble in my case hehe) "I will work up to my optimum temperature!" "I will facilitate...diffusion~" haha

and well she was iffy about the word wonderment so i checked the thesaurus on Word and it came up with stupefaction lol i didn't think that was even a word! and no weaam i wouldn't use it in my personal statement... The long hours on the tranquil footpath has allowed me to observe the stupefaction surrounding me...

jon's come along and described mr. smith as a caterpillar lol!! he drew it 'n it looks sooo funny 'n he just told us that mr. smith is freakishly hairy and he has more hair on his eyebrows than jon does on his entire body hehe and well he's 42 with a 2 yr old kid so by the time the kid's 10 he'd be like daddy come play with me, and he'd say i'm sorry i've got arthritis/heart disease/cancer/SARS/AIDs, go play with yourself haha ooh and now johann came along to add to this hehe he just told us about how mr. smith tried to show the class how cancereous poo is, so he told all of 'em to imagine him as poo 'n started to go up to ppl and say "cancer cancer" *weird hand movements (spirit fingers)*

i can't remember how we ended up talking about j-lo's ass, but we did and souhyb described it in the best way haha he's like it's like a cherry stuck in a straw lol but david was like no more like an orange very out of proportion indeed hehe

johann reminded me about what happened on the day we had our exam last week hehe he was talking and no one was exactly listening so fiz was like who are you talking to and he's like i'm talking to bob next to you *points at thin air* and fiz was like that's my name, king bob hehe so johann's like i'll give u more of a girly name... i'll call you boob or no boobette haha and u know how ppl say my name's bob, call me bobby? hehe it'd be like hi my name's boob, call me booby lol

i love the way charlaine can critisize faaiza lol!! it was so funny afterschool hehe she was like why do you have to speak so loud to fiz 'n hajra and i was like they're small so they try 'n project their voice to be heard and she's like *stomp* ooh what was that? lol 'n the stuff about fiz having a brain difficiency hmm but fiz didn't do too bad with her come backs lol

i was there in time to hear jon's joke maaan that was demented!! it was about a father who went to see his new-born child but the child was handicapped but he still went to see. he kept on asking if the baby that he saw was his but it wasn't 'n it got worse 'n worse till they got to this eyeball on a pillow which was in fact his 'child' and the father asks if this ehh eyeball can lead a normal life and the doctor's like no he's blind noice hehe it was funny when fiz told me later about how the father'd teach the eyeball to read haha oh and fiz try not to break the chair next time lol!! i seriously didn't expect the whole cushion bit to rip off when you slid down on to the seat hehe no wonder sumudu's like faaiza did you fart? oh and sumudu's jokes were demented as well!! the phone booth series i mean. 'how do you stuff a bunch of babies into a phone booth?' blender 'how do you get them out?' straw o_O lol but i liked rishi's one the best hehe 10,000 indians were killed in a nuclear bomb. 5,000 died because of the intial hit the other 5,000 died because they ran towards the huge mushroom lol

ooh hina drew stars on sumudu's glasses with a permanent marker and she was struggling to get rid of 'em lol

break was funny, well what i overheard from the other table that is lol danny 'n linda pushed the chairs over to their table so ppl were getting squished (OOOOOHHH lightening!!!! ) ahem and roy tried to push the chairs back but ehh his foot was very close to err krishnan's vital parts so charlaine tried to explain to roy how close his foot was so he said why are you looking there in the first place and she's like at least he has something you don't have and he's like what? a shoe??? lol then someone threw a random piece of wrapper and rishi was like look it's your brain to whoever threw it haha

i couldn't help but overhear yusuf, roy 'n krishnan's conversation about what happened to roy on new years haha seems like he ate fish and started to choke because he was laughing as well as eating and he managed to swallow it in the end... or so he thought hehe cuz after some time he couldn't stop sneezing and the fish came outta his nose lol!!! krishnan's comments on that were pretty funny as well hehe something about roy having a fish stuck up in his nose the whole time if he hadn't sneezed that day hehe

danny suddenly started to sing a different version of the carpenter's song it's like take me hooome cyprus road (i think?) to a place I call hooome west manama desert mama etc etc well that's what i heard hehe dunno if it's even right then when i was climbing up the stairs to the library amira wouldn't stop laughing so i turned around and found jon 'n iman climbing up the stairs in a demented way hehehe they were flicking their legs from side to side and trying to look like complete idiots hehe and well they were doing this right behind paracha lol

somehow the conversation started to be about this game we played, fatal frame and well there's a ritual where this woman got her eyes gouged out (eww) soo fiz randomly asked rishi what he'd do if his eyes were gouged out and he's like i'd wear goggles lol!! that was amusing hehe

my bro suddenly had the urge to play the game so he is right now lol really screwed up the names zidane = fagette, vivi = slave, steiner = asswipe hehe so they keep calling each other those names haha even when my sis started to play zelda she called the main guy im gay hehe so when this person was trying to wake the character up, he was like "im gay im gay wake up! im gay!" lol

comment from rishi:

im gay wake up.. LOOOL!!! i told karan tht... and he's sleeping right now... or trying too... so he didnt hear all the introductuction... i was twelling him how juju changed the names and wht that guy said to 'im gay'
but i think he just woke up when i started saying "im gay im gay wake up im gay!!" and the look on his face was hilarious!!!!
thankx rima!

GO TO 11/10/03 + 12/1/03

-Mr. Doyle's Math lessons-

oh and at the end of the lesson he [mr. doyle] was writing out homework down and the pen ran out so yousef was like look it's a sign from god, we shouldn't have any homework 'n he's like behold *picks up pen* god gave me another pen hehe

reminds me of the time when he [ma'an] came back from the bathroom shuffling slowly by and mr doyle's like woah ma'an slow down! you're going too fast lol

hana: I don't like differentiation
mr. d: when have you ever liked this course?
yousef: it's about to rain outside
mr. d: thank you for that connecting comment, yousef

yousef: do you ever fast mr. doyle?
mr. d: ofcourse I do! I fast every night
yousef: really?
mr. d: yes, and every morning I break fast hence the name breakfast
yousef: you're good mr. doyle. you're smart. when i grow up i'm gonna hire you
mr. d: yousef, you really think i'm gonna work for you?

mr. doyle described yousef as an asymptote cuz ppl come close to him but never actually sits next to him hehe then yousef was eating this kinder surprise thing and randomly gave the toy to mr. doyle but he was like don't spoil me hehe

Monday, February 27, 2006

HAhaha I have done it again! Today, I suddenly had the urge to eat something sweet after my dinner and instead of going down to the vending machine to pick up a chocolate bar. I decided to make cookies muwahaha I know I know, the past few entries have consisted of me showing food but these are the sort of things I've never really attempted before in my life until now lol (which is quite late -_-)

yummy cookies that look like err bread?

and yeah there's me! I had fun savouring my cookie and taking bizarre pictures but they are quite private so no more haha (and please try to ignore my bad haircut, it'll grow out soon sooo hehe)

What else...

It has been QUITE cold here in Bristol -_- I was expecting this sort of cold weather earlier in the month but alas, here it is now. One time, I stepped out of school to find that it was raining but wait... something didn't sound right... It was hail!! Went on and on and on, but did stop relatively quickly (didn't have enough time to take out my camera hehe) But heck, the sky can always manage to look pretty

Wednesday, February 22, 2006

I think I'll set up a collection of interesting quotes from my previous entries. My past entries are private at the moment but I'll let people access them soon (for the sake of reminiscing) because heck, you guys were part of it all I've gotta add that I had more quirky and interesting things to say back then aaahhhh what happened to me... My entries are boring now

*I'll take off the song once I bring back the old entries cuz I know how annoying it can be to constantly hear it hehe and well as you can see on the time thing it's past 3 in the morning... I can't sleep....
